While A Cut Above‘s Classic Collection was comprised of basic, logo-driven tees, hoodies and accessories, the brand keeps forging ahead, delving into new territory with its latest offerings for Spring/Summer 2013. The Belgian label’s aesthetic references the ’90s era of skateboarding, hip-hop and punk — along with the stylistic influences of designers like Raf Simons — and the end result is clothing that slots in somewhere between streetwear and high fashion. In ACA’s preferred palette of black and white, this season’s new silhouettes include team and MA-1 jackets, graphic tees, hoodies and baseball jerseys that should look as good on New York streets as they do in Antwerp.
