Subdued in nature next to the likes of the brand’s recent Spring/Summer 2013 releases like the Liberty collaboration and Black & Blue Zebra Collection, THE NORTH FACE and its Japanese-led PURPLE LABEL have dropped brand new iterations of the Mountain Wind Parka for the current season. Recalling the designs of the ’80s and ’90s with bold yet simple color blocking, the lightweight jacket features wind-resistant 30D PERTEX nylon construction and replaces the silhouette’s usual zippered slash pockets with those of the patch variety and buttoned closures. Finished with a single stripe that extends across the torso to each of the sleeves and available in a trio of color combos, the latest version of THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL’s Mountain Wind Parka is now available online from nanamica for ￥22,050 JPY (approximately $230 USD).
