MOCAtv and the Artist Talks Make a Visit to the Studios of David Choe

On the one hand, David Choe is a popular, highly accomplished painter with a unique, colorful style. His works have appeared in a number of high-profile situations, including a mural inside the Facebook HQ, work for Jay-Z & Linkin Park, and the film set of Juno. On the other hand, Choe is conflicted about his work, having reached a certain ‘bonus’ level in the art world and feeling bored with accomplishment. MOCAtv‘s Artist Talks, hosted by Alia Shawkat and filmed by Lance Bangs, got the opportunity to talk with Choe about this in-between stage of his career.
