M83‘s Anthony Gonzalez has been focusing on a major movie score as of late, teaming up with TRON: Uprising‘s composer Joseph Trapanese, the two have created the official title track for the upcoming Tom Cruise sci-fi flick, Oblivion. “StarWaves” is a mellow-paced cut that steadily builds and expands into a backdrop of synths. The official Oblivion soundtrack drops on April 9, 2013 via Back Lot Record, while the movie hits theaters on April 19, 2013.
