Here’s a new one from the Philly-bred, Cleveland-based emcee, Lorenzo Asher. Throughout the span of his short career, his introduction to the game began through the form of ghostwriting for major label artists. Obviously, can’t mention those names for contractual reasons, but as you’ll hear, this 22-year-old prodigy certainly has a knack for song structure and catchy hooks and bars. This song serves as the lead single to pave the way to his upcoming mixtape release Liquor, Loud, Loyalty, Love slated to release during Spring 2013. The album’s mix engineer, Fabian Marasciullo, is also the man behind Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III and IV, as well as many other platinum-selling albums.
