Following a number of glimpses of the film in the form of a teaser, last fall’s first official trailer, and an extended Super Bowl cut, Marvel now treats fans to the best look yet at Iron Man 3 with the introduction of this two-and-a-half-minute theatrical trailer. Directed by Shane Black and once again starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle, the third installment in the Iron Man film franchise marks the debut of Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin – Tony Stark’s archenemy and a familiar face to longtime fans of the comics. The new Iron Man flick also marks the series debut of Col. James Rhodes’ American flag-adorned War Machine armor, Iron Patriot. As Stark faces off against the Mandarin, the hero will continue to cope with a post-Avengers world as he wonders: Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Iron Man 3 is set to hit theaters on May 3.
