Hotel 1171 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

For some, a hotel is simply a shelter away from home, or a place to sojourn for the night. For others, like recently-launched label Hotel 1171, the word symbolizes “the excitement of exploring new cultures and manifesting one’s own unique path.” Shot on location in Big Sur, California by Charles Bergquis, the brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook showcases a collection inspired by freedom, adventure and discovery. Among the pieces included are combo jackets like the State and Fir — made with fleece and lambskin sleeves — brushed twill bomber jackets with floral linings, crewneck sweaters and easy, short-sleeve button-downs. And, to complete the wanderer’s kit, heavy-duty tech bags and saddle shoe/sneaker hybrids are offered this season for a blend of sporty and sophisticated.
