Futura Stars in Jason Goldwatch’s Latest ‘Time Pieces’

A departure from the preceding piece featuring Too $hort, the latest in Jason Goldwatch‘s Time Pieces video series finds the filmmaker next to famed artist Futura (and company) as a crew travels cross-country for the Gumball 3000. At the race circuit’s level of popularity, it would seem that participants in the race series might be above the law, yet according to Goldwatch’s video, even super cars get speeding tickets. The film does well to capture the feeling of driving across America’s untapped expanse while meeting with celebrity friends, passing joints and riding around in Porsches, simultaneously capturing more intimate moments.
