On Super Bowl Sunday last month, a large portion of the U.S. was tuned into CBS to watch the big game taking place in New Orleans. In Chicago, however, three artists had other business to attend to. On that day, 19-year-old Alex Wiley, fellow young burgeoning rapper Vic Mensa—who you may know from his role as the frontman of Kids These Days—and the multi-talented Chuck Inglish—who we also heard today on his “Back Up (Remix)” featuring Travi$ Scott—met up at the Closed Sessions studio to do what they do best: make music. The result is a track called “Jerseys & Loafers,” which features Inglish on the production and impressive verses from Mensa and then Wiley.
