As mentioned with our initial look last week, AAPE’s forthcoming selection aligns with its parent brand’s deeply-rooted militaristic influences with camo-heavy prints, reboots to army-intended classics, and the addition of a small, ubiquitous insignia that outlines the silhouette of a solider in the field. Additional details from the impending warm-weathered range includes graphical T-shirts that recalls Keith Haring and early American comics, various plaid tops, premium denim with patchwork and embroidery throughout, and a grouping of footwear that includes the brand’s recent collaborative effort with DC Shoes. AAPE by A Bathing Ape’s 2013 spring/summer collection should begin retailing at its appropriate stockists within the coming weeks.
