For a photographer, a camera is as good as a screwdriver to a craftsman – and you can never have too many screwdrivers. Portland-area photographer Jim Golden presents more than a toolbox worth of photography equipment in a project for Nike’s in-house photo studio in Beaverton. Golden’s work will be printed on a 10 x 8 poster, to be hung in the studio’s atrium. Teaming up with stylist Kristin Lane, Golden held an open call to the Portland photography community, assembling this impressive spread with the help of the city’s shutterbugs. Similar to Transworld Magazine‘s “Cinematographer Project” video cover vis a vis last year, Golden’s work will no doubt be an impressive addition to Nike‘s walls.
