Appearing as a part of the Italian fashion label’s latest collection, Missoni presents its take on the classic desert boot for Spring/Summer 2013. Eschewing the brand’s bright tones and bold patterning in favor of an understated look that suits the African desert beginnings of the chukka, the footwear features a tan suede upper alongside a leather welt, rubber crepe outsole and embroidery along the midfoot at the base of the eyestay. Finished with striped laces, metal eyelets, and a patterned heel pull tab, the Missoni Spring/Summer 2013 Desert Boots are now available via Parisian boutique colette for €485 EUR (approximately $655 USD).
