The Hide-Chan MASTERMIND RAMEN is another collaborative effort that stems from its original food-orientated project two years ago. The ramen brainchild of mastermind JAPAN and THE CONTEMPORARY FIX celebrates the former brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 release — titled “dreaming” — with a special event that offers two different noodle sets for the day. The “WHITE STYLE” recipe consists of black truffles Torokatsukare curry noodle soup with onion, while the “BLACK STYLE” dish includes foie gras within a specially boiled noodle base. Held at THE CONTEMPORARY FIX and in association with Chan So, the two dishes are served on a special edition mastermind JAPAN bowl that sports the brand’s iconic skull imagery, and are sold for ¥3,000 JPY (approximately $35 USD) each.
