iPad "Tank Case" by Andrea Ponti

Aptly titled, the “Tank Case” was created by Italian designer Andrea Ponti with both aesthetics and functionality in mind. Crafted from anti-shock aluminum, the case takes into account all elements and edges of the iPad’s structure in an attempt to more effectively protect the coveted Apple device. The design is constructed from two heavy-duty sheets of aluminum metal and the interior is lined with ultra-thin polymeric membrane that acts as a buffer to prevent shock and damage. Perhaps one of the most convenient elements of the Tank Case, a built-in ABS clasp is situated along the side hinge to allow a 360-degree rotation to unmask the iPad’s screen.
