Established in 2009 by British couple Sam Rush and Henry Allum, Handsom is a line of quality, wearable clothing designed to be both approachable and timeless. For Fall/Winter 2013, the Melbourne-based label presents its latest collection by way of a sophisticated, yet youthfully exuberant selection of everyday wardrobe essentials. In texture-heavy fabrics and an autumnal color palette, shirting comes in the form of Japanese wool checks, paisley button-downs, flecked chambrays and patchwork flannels, while a selection of outerwear options include woolen bombers in tweed and Prince of Wales checks. Elsewhere, the collection is rounded out by knitwear — contrast texture cardigans, mohair cable knits and speckled sweatshirts — that, along with this season’s other pieces, should fit seamlessly into any man’s wardrobe. Handsom’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection will be available at the label’s flagship store in Melbourne as well as select stockists from mid-February onwards.
