Long before stints as Jay-Z’s tour DJ or assignments as adidas’s Global Brand Ambassador, Armstrong crafted gritty beat tapes that encapsulated the formative days of turntablism and backpack hip-hop. The Sweeet mixtape is a poignant iteration from the aforementioned, nodding at softer R&B palettes without forgoing golden eras of boom-bap. To commemorate 10 years since the release, the iconic DJ has collected a complete set of all the mixes - including a bonus remix disc titled “Sugarcoated” – and dubbed the collection Sweeet 10 Year Anniversary Box Set.
