Pertinently named, En Noir has seen the likes of A$AP Rocky and Kanye spearhead its dark mix of haute couture and streetwear. Ahead of NYFW, head designer Rob Garcia flaunts the latest collection in a monochromatic lookbook, providing added anticipation with its blend of high-end sportswear designs and neo-gothic motifs. While the iterated double biker jacket sits strongly in the collection as a timeless disposition, elsewhere Garcia toys with leather paneling over crisscross renditions and faux-crocodile skin embellishments on a number of vests, pullovers and T-shirts. Additionally, a selection of skintight fitted leather pants sit alongside loose-fitted shorts and leggings, rounding the profiles up with austere layering. The En Noir 2013 spring/summer collection will be available from selected retailers in the coming months.
