Pulling inspiration from Gregory David Roberts’ book Shantaram, London-based designer Rav Matharu — otherwise known as Clothsurgeon — readies his sophomore collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Taking pointers from staple pieces such as double-riders jackets, crewneck sweater, cuffed pants, short and varsity jackets, the Clothsurgeon range is defined by leather construction, tartan panels, textured silk T-shirts and other choice fabrics. The decidedly noir collection also embodies a bolder aesthetic with red hues and plaids playing their part in rounding out the comprehensive range. Those in the market can now find availability directly through Clothsurgeon’s online store here.
