Aesop-Marimekko Sauna Duet

Inspired by the rituals of Scandinavian bathing culture, the Sauna Duet is a joint effort by Aesop and Finnish design/fashion house Marimekko that will release later this year. The “duet” consists of Sauna Body Scrub and Sauna Body Balm, products that merge both Marimekko’s Finnish roots with Aesop’s expertise in plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients. Utilizing the rich, aromatic essential oils of fir needle, sage leaf and pine needle, along with purifying and detoxifying ingredients, Aesop-Marimekko’s Sauna Body Scrub gently exfoliates while the Sauna Body Balm nourishes and moisturizes for soft, supple skin. Both products come packaged in recyclable plastic jars and are offered in a dedicated cotton bag featuring Marimekko’s ‘Vellamo’ print. The Aesop-Marimekko Sauna Duet will be available at the end of April at Aesop signature stores in Australia, Asia, the USA, and Europe, as well as at Marimekko retail locations and online from both Aesop and Marimekko.
