Despite the wet, foggy conditions in Portland, Oregon, the city seems to produce some of the best talent in skateboarding today. Silas Baxter-Neal is living evidence of this, with the 30-year-old Habitat professional already having a prolific career that includes a “Skater of the Year” award, a full Transworld video part, and two pro models on adidas’ Skateboarding squadron. Despite busily traveling for the forthcoming Habitat video, Baxter-Neal took a day to show RIDE Channel around the ‘City of Roses’ for its stellar “SKATE” series. The skater takes us through some familiar ledge, rail and gap spots throughout the city, giving tidbits of history at each locale.
