Lana Del Rey 'Tropico' Short Film

With her highly succesful major label debut now nearly two years old, songstress Lana Del Rey unveiled her latest project last night in California: the short film Tropico. Kicking off in the Garden of Eden before ultimately hitting a strip club, convenient store, bachelor party and, finally, the countryside, the 27-minute piece – first teased back in November – includes “cameos” by everyone from Jesus to Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, John Wayne and more. Set to tunes from 2012’s Paradise EP, Tropico is sure to keep fans satisfied until the release of 2014’s Born to Die follow-up, Ultraviolence.
