Japanese fashion label Mean presents an extensive collection for 2014 spring/summer. While 2013 fall/winter took inspiration from the traditions of the Basque country, the 2014 spring/summer line looks to Americana designs of the ’50s for cues. Making contemporary interpretations to classic wardrobe staples, Mean enlists subtle hues in its modern take on the button-up shirt, blazer and pullover, while anoraks and windbreakers provide utilitarian options elsewhere. A range of denim pieces are also available alongside khaki and navy pants that reflect workwear-inspired designs. Cast your eyes over the images above and stay tuned for the collection be released via selected retailers.
