Episode no., brainchild of Iroquois designer Makoto Yoshida, has just released the supporting visuals to its 2014 spring/summer collection — the label counts down from episode 10 to 0, four seasons being one episode. Started in 2010, the label has a strong focus on knitwear and the innovation of the craft via exploring patterns, various materials and processes. The most recent season sees relaxed fits with the recurrence of a psychedelic color palette as a nod towards the ’60s hippie subculture. With features like jacquard weaving, high-density weaving, and the use of soft mohair yarn and elaborate dyes, it will be interesting to see how Episode no. evolves as its episodes run out.
