Producer Clams Casino and young rapper Vic Mensa were recently locked into a room for two days and thus recorded while creating a collaborative tune, making good use of HP’s new Split x2 laptop/table. Captured live on YouTube, the tandem was able to come up with three songs, one of which was selected by the viewers, as Clams and Mensa then crafted a coinciding visual for the cut. The result was “Egyptian Cotton,” a Middle Eastern-sounding jam, as you can now get a look at a little of what went down while the two were working, via the player above.
