A merging of two iconic models, Nike presents the Nike Flyknit Air Max. Pairing the lightweight fit of Nike Flyknit with the cushioned lower of an Air Max, the combination looks to shed weight while increasing flexibility and stability for the runner. Nike also took cues from its replete archive, incorporating the Waffle outsole for better traction, while the two-color faded airbag provide an ultra-cushioned ride. The engineered mesh upper incorporates Flywire technology for a seamless overlay that adapts to the shape of the foot, providing additional support throughout. The Nike Flyknit Air Max is set to be released January 3, 2014, and will be available for pre-order on December 27.
