Brooklyn indie rockers, The National, have just unveiled their new song “Lean,” which also serves as their contribution to the upcoming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire movie/soundtrack. The song was originally written off when the title was considered “too dark” by the film makers, but was eventually cleared when the title was changed from “Dying is Easy” to “Lean.” The full soundtrack is set to be released on November 19 and will also feature contributions from Coldplay, Lorde, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd and Santigold to name a few. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire movie is out November 22 via via Lionsgate/Republic. Full tracklisting can be seen below along with the single.
