Swiss manufacturer Vitra takes a step away from the realm of furniture to introduce a series of new blankets inspired by the motifs of iconic designers Charles Eames, Ray Eames and Alexander Girard. Measuring 135 x 200 cm and featuring reversible 100% Merino lambswool constructed with a classic jacquard weaving technique, the blankets include the Eames dot pattern – originally introduced for a 1947 exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York – and a total of five different patterns created by Girard. The full range is now available online for £252.50 GBP (approximately $406 USD) each.
