Where the original N.HOOLYWOOD label has a taste for native prints, gruff old Western attitudes, and sometimes even graffiti, the COMPILE sub-label is really more suited for swanky suburban getaways than the streets. Slick three-piece suiting options, cropped khaki shorts and neutral trench coats all seem essential to N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, yet the line – designed by Daisuke Obana – is not without its charming quirks. Earthy colors are traded in for radiant primary colors; the collection makes use of vibrant stripes across sweaters and pointed-collar shirts, and contrasts mellow gingham with lively plaid. Enjoy a look at the N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE Spring/Summer 2014 range, available at select stockists in the coming weeks.
