mita sneakers x New Balance 2013 Fall/Winter MRT580

Japanese footwear staple mita sneakers has unveiled a brand new collaboration, this time tapping New Balance for a project. The Massachusetts-based footwear giant and the specialist boutique teamed up on the MRT580 silhouette, executing the sneaker in a clean black and white colorway. Placing special importance on aging over the time, the upper has been outfitted in supple black leather around the upper. The laser-etched star detailing around the toe box and collar reveals a 3M reflective second layer underneath, which is complimented by white stitching around the entire top portion. These features rest atop a clean white REVlite midsole, which cradles the foot in a lightweight, though supportive mold. Look for this version of the MRT580 to appear in-store at mita sneakers and WHIZ Limited for approximately $179 USD.
