Congrats all around for Detorit rapper Eminem who can proudly celebrate his seventh consecutive album to debut at No. 1 with The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Originally predicted to sell a respectable 750,000 copies in its first week of sales, Eminem was able to exceed that with first week sales reaching a total of 792,000 copies. This would place him in second for having the most first week sales this year, the first spot going to Justin Timberlake with The 20/20 Experience (968,000 copies) and at third spot Drake with Nothing Was the Same (658,000 copies).
