Although based on the serene sandy setting of Venice, California, COLDSMOKE‘s influences hail from the mountains. The contemporary outwear brand has recently unveiled its debut line for Fall/Winter 2013, which was shot by Chicago-based photographer trashhand. In an effort to strike a balance between function and style, COLDSMOKE takes influence from military and technical performance wear, executing parkas, slick M65 jackets, vests and anoraks in predominantly neutral colorways. The brand uses a variety of materials, including the eVent Waterproof Fabric (developed by G.E. Technology), which is specifically engineered to balance external moisture and heat to provide year-round comfort. Look for the collection at premier retailers such as Bodega (Boston) and Feature (Las Vegas) soon, as well as on the brand’s own web shop now.
