In continued promotion of the highly-anticipated New Object Research line, Aitor Throup has kicked off an installation at high-end retailer H. Lorenzo in Los Angeles. The clothier can now count New Object Research alongside the likes of Damir Doma and UNDERCOVER, which nicely contextualizes the brand’s technical, brooding aesthetics. The installation here – dubbed “Reflection / Redemption” – reflects one of Throup’s key concepts, called “When Football Hooligans Become Hindu Gods.” Touching on the metamorphosis of body language after physical abuse, the exhibition highlights the human anatomy through Throup’s meticulously developed line. Enjoy a look at the installation above, and be sure to stop by H. Lorenzo for a more in-depth experience.
