Architecture and interior design authority Dwell ventured into Vincent Kartheiser‘s minimalist Hollywood abode. Opposing the large-scale, perhaps even wastefully spacious mansions of many of his peers, the Mad Men star invested in a 580-square-foot home, recruiting designer Funn Roberts to maximize every inch of the space. It’s completely utilitarian from floor to ceiling; Kartheiser’s bed hangs from the ceiling and can be retracted as necessary; his headboard doubles as a fold-out desk; the closet is in the same view as the multi-purpose shower and soaking tub.
