In what appears to be a return to the late 20th century offerings, A Bathing Ape releases new images of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2013 collection courtesy of SENSE. Looking back to the darker times of BAPE, we can see this editorial is full of heavy outerwear in predominantly black, green and gray renditions, with plenty of subtle details like inch-long embroidered Ape Heads, camouflage interior lining, metal embellishments, black glossy leather, fur hoods and more. That isn’t to say the brand has ditched all aspects of their recent years – colorful Bapesta sneakers, full camo exteriors, a very clean varsity jacket with their iconic decorations, and the beloved Manhunt boots all make an appearance as well to round out a very balanced collection.
