PUMA has released a special Made in Japan pack for the Holiday 2013 season consisting of two styles in two colors. The first, the Hiker Mid NBK “Takumi,” is a hiking boot-inspired silhouette with a paneled leather construction. While the D-link eyelets, thick laces, wool collar and durable Vibram outsole suggest the features of your typical hiker, the sleek shape and sporty streamlined panels and stitching mark the interpretation as distinctly from PUMA. The boots come in a choice of brown and black color options.

The second offering, the smaller Stepper WKB “Takumi,” is crafted out of a premium pebbled leather and similarly features a Vibram outsole and fuzzy textured paneling on its collar and on the sides. Flat laces and an embossed logo on the tongue finish the pair, which likewise comes in both black or brown.

The Hiker Mid NBKs are priced at ¥‎26,250 JPY (approximately $270 USD) and the Hiker Mid NBKs at ¥‎29,400 JPY (approximately $300 USD). Look for them now at select retailers including atmos Tokyo.
