Following up on our recent interview to announce NEIGHBORHOOD‘s first-ever Converse collaboration, we take a product-driven look at the two models that hits stores in the coming days. Defined by what NEIGHBORHOOD founder Shinsuke Takizawa calls a “timeless simplicity,” the First String drop features the Jack Purcell Johnny Mid and the All Star Chuck ‘70 Ox. Both are featured in premium executions that embody a distinct approach embracing quality materials and a shared woven pattern on the heel. Additionally, the All Star Chuck ‘70 omits its traditional rand stripe. The collaboration will hit stores beginning on Friday, October 25 at Union in Los Angeles and El Garito de Converse in Madrid, and a day later on the 26th at HOODS in Hong Kong. Select Converse First String retailers across the globe will release on Friday, November 1. The sneakers will carry a suggested retail price of $120 USD in U.S. sizes of eight through 12.
