Farfetch 2013 Fall/Winter "DISHOOM!" Video
Farfetch’s support of the retail independents continues this season with its SUPERSTORE initiative.
Farfetch’s support of the retail independents continues this season with its SUPERSTORE initiative. The program enjoyed its second such campaign based around the desire to support and uplift boutiques who have contributed to creative landscape of fashion. This year’s winner comes all the way from Mumbai, India where concept store Le Mill earned the top prize from the panel of judges. The store was established back in March of 2011 by Cecilia Morelli Parikh, Julie Leymarie and Aurélie de Cort — all of whom have enjoyed considerable respect in the luxury and retail industry. The Mumbai arm of Le Mill is featured in a rice mill where it houses established labels such The Row, Peter Pilotto and Isabel Marant, together with Indian designers such as Sabyasachi and Pero. Despite its fashion focus, the retailer also carries a well-stocked selection of design, furniture and textiles while a café, florist and bookstore truly round out the lifestyle element of Le Mill.
To help commemorate their win and India’s first such addition to the Farfetch family, Le Mill introduced a selection of pieces exclusive for Farfetch celebrating emerging Indian design. Sabyasachi, Savio Jon and En Inde all contributed various pieces from fashion to jewelry. The collection is available now at www.farfetch.com.
