Ducati 1199 Superleggera

Ducati has unveiled the 1199 Superleggera, its new range-topping, limited-edition model. Based on the already fast 1199 Panigale R, the Superleggera takes things up a notch by upping the horsepower and shedding some weight. Made of carbon fiber, titanium and magnesium, the Superleggera weighs in at 341 pounds — 23 pounds less than the Panigale R — and produces a little over 200 horsepower. Designed for use both on and off the track, the bike comes with a Race Kit that bumps up the horsepower by five while also ditching a little bit more weight. Just 500 example will be built, with many already spoken for.
