BMW has unveiled the 2 Series, the German marque’s newest coupe and the successor to the 1 Series. At launch, the car will be offered in two variants: the 228i and the M235i. The 228i is powered by a 240 horsepower, 2.0 liter turbocharged engine and can do 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds with the eight-speed automatic transmission. The range-topping M235i features a 3.0 liter, turbocharged six-cylinder engine good for 322 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just 4.8 seconds. The 2 Series is set to make its real world debut at the North American International Show and will go on sale soon after with prices starting at $32,100 USD for the 228i and $43,100 USD for the M235i.
