Washed Out - The Sound of Creation

Teaming up with the folks over at Consequence of Sound and electronics company Philips, chillwave sensation Ernest Greene—better known by his stage name Washed Out—has brought forth the first new track we’ve heard from him in quite some time. This one, “The Sound of Creation,” has been released in coordination with the campaign by the same name, in which Philips is using an “interactive musical story” to emphasize its line of sleek audio products. For the track, Greene composed a mellow, yet steadily building piece of production that, as CoS put it, uses “an extensive collection of foley sound effects that accent the natural elements of his sound.” Give it a listen below and head over to CoS to learn more about the campaign.
