Nike's Chinese New Year Sneaker Releases Throughout the Years

In anticipation of Nike‘s latest releases tying into the Year of the Snake from the Chinese Zodiac, we have a brief recap of the previous Chinese New Year releases from the ever iconic Swoosh. Since 2002, Nike has been putting out annual Zodiac editions of its classic footwear models; starting with the Year of the Horse edition, we’ve since seen a model for progress in linear order from Goat to Monkey and so forth, culminating in last year’s Dragon-inspired release. What originally started with just the Air Force 1 expanded in 2007 with the first non-AF1 model, the Nike Footscape Woven 360 for the Year of the Pig.
