Invoking the theme of “Epic Masculinity,” Jil Sander presents its 2013 fall/winter collection. Though neither expressly or overtly military, subtle influences could be seen in the extensive collection — tall collars, double-breasted coats, and strong reds and greens featured heavily throughout. Patterns and textures also made a strong appearance with a wide selection of pinstripes, checks and chunky knits. Several looks offered throwbacks to the Sander boy of seasons past but it was the strong coat and jacket selection that really carried this collection forward.
