Germany’s rap scene has been quite on the move in the past few years. With a hip-hop culture that has been developing for almost three decades, “Deutschrap” has recently experienced a rejuvenated hype due to the increased media attention of a set of popular artists that can be labelled radio-friendly as well as controversial. Chimperator’s Die Orsons certainly are one of the reasons of German rap music’s current rise. Ever since their 2008 debut LP, the quartet has compelled their massive following with a high level of creativity in their wordplay and flow.
