D-WHY - 2,000 Miles

D-WHY revisits his Don’t Flatter Yourself album, and releases a brand new visual for his track “2,000 Miles.” Packing his bags and hitting the road with some friends in an RV, the West Virginia native set out on an adventure along the southern California coast. Co-starring KYLE aka K.i.D., Joi Liaye and Nolan Smith, D-WHY went on to share the following about the making of the video:
There was no plan, no script, no real treatment, no set destinations–just the desire to hit the road and enjoy a few days away from it all. I wrote the song as a reflection on all of my experiences being on the road and in new places over the past few years, and I think the video captures the essence of that. I’m a firm believer that it’s not necessarily about where you go or what you experience, but about who you experience it all with. And now, my fans can experience the song with me.
The video’s ending sees the multi-talented musician again showcasing his passion for folk music, as noted in his recently released ode to the tragedy in Connecticut, “Song For Newtown,” as he performs an acoustic track over a scenic view of the coastline. Press play up above and enjoy.
