UK-based graphic artist Pahnl, a stencil painter since 2003, spotlights the completion of one of his works with this “how-to” video. Condensing 50 hours of design, 45 hours of cutting, and an hour of painting down to two-and-a-half-minutes, the short film highlights the completion of Pahnl’s 122cm x 30.5cm x 4cm work And I’m Not Going to Take This Anymore. Inspired by the Arab Spring and riots in the likes of London, Vancouver and Athens over the past few years, the riotous spray-painted piece stretches over five panels of canvas and appears in a Constructivist color palette of red, white and black. A sequel of sorts to 2005′s It Started As A Joke, the newly-created And I’m Not Going to Take This Anymore is now available online with more affordable screen prints of the piece soon to follow.
