Have you ever taken into consideration whether or not a band’s name matches the music they’re making? If so, you might be happy to know that there is a new name to add to the affirmative pile. Coming out of Southern California, brothers Ryan and Taylor Lahorn, better known as Pacific Air, are making dreamy indie pop music that sounds like a direct audible mirror of their moniker. Their first release comes in the form of “Float,” a catchy, upbeat track that they originally released under the name KO KO, but revised on the production end and remastered for distribution under their new record deal with Universal Republic.
