J. L. Lawson & Co. introduces a brass top that embodies the very essence and principles that the dedicated machinists hold dear. What started off as a gift passed down through family is now the label’s Solid Brass Top, hand-turned from a solid block of brass and machined without the use of any specifications — each top is one-of-a-kind. Able to spin in excess of two minutes, the 1.5” in diameter top comes in a beautifully crafted walnut case for storage and display. Following the brand’s ethos, the functional piece of art is intended to be passed on to future generations, just like the tradition of fine craftsmanship was passed down from Jimmie Leonard Lawson, who currently helms the label.
