Audi has taken the wraps off its sporty new S3 hatchback ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show next week. At the heart of this new model is a 2.0-liter TFSI direct-injection, turbocharged engine putting out a very respectable 296 hp, and 280 lb-ft of torque. Making use of all that power shouldn’t be a problem as the new car will feature Audi’s legendary all-wheel drive and a standard six-speed manual gearbox or optional dual-clutch transmission. Audi claims a 0-60 mph time of 5.1 seconds with the dual-clutch transmission with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
