Major Lazer will release their second album Free the Universe on November 6 via Mad Decent/Downtown Records. The production pseudonym of genre-ambiguous producer Diplo follows up the 2009 album Guns Don’t Kill People – Lazers Do with an LP filled with household names including Ezra Koenig, Bruno Mars, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, Amber Coffman (who features on “Get Free”) and more. Clarification regarding Snoop Dogg’s upcoming Reincarnated album under the guise of “Snoop Lion” was also given, stating that producers Ariel Reichtshaid and Dre Skull fall under the Major Lazer umbrella for that project.
