After finding success with her 2006 and 2008 albums, Alright, Still and It’s Not Me, It’s You, British singer-songwriter Lily Allen decided to take an indefinite break from music and focused on her family. Since then, she’s had a baby, launched a record label, and started her own clothing line. But now, fans have something to get excited about. In an official press release, Allen announced that she’s started recording again and is “excited to be heading back into the studio.” However, there is a catch. Lily Allen will no longer go by Lily Allen. Instead, she will be releasing music under her real name that she acquired through marriage—Lily Rose Cooper. As of now, there’s no word on when new music from the talented 27-year-old will surface, but keep your eyes peeled.
